Patient Dress

Patient dresses, commonly known as hospital gowns, are designed for comfort, ease of access for medical staff, and hygiene. They typically feature an open back or a front-open design with ties or snaps for easy removal and access to the patient's body during examinations or procedures.

• Design: Most traditional hospital gowns are a simple, loose-fitting, short-sleeved dress that opens fully at the back and fastens with ties at the neck and waist. Other variations include front-open tops and drawstring pants, often referred to as scrubs.
• Material: They are typically made from a durable, easy-care poly-cotton blend fabric that can withstand frequent industrial laundering in hot water to maintain hygiene standards. Disposable versions made of paper or thin plastic are also used, particularly for single-use situations or in operating theatres.
• Functionality: The design prioritizes ease for healthcare providers to dress/undress patients and access areas for treatment, IV lines, or monitoring equipment.
• Unisex: Most standard patient gowns are designed to be suitable for both male and female patients, often available in a range of general sizes (e.g., S, L, XL, Free Size).
